Welcome to my world…

Look, if you’re sick of the scripted circus and the spineless politicians, you’re in the right place. I’ve been calling it like I see it — no party loyalty, just truth. Here’s the complete roundup of the most pressing nonsense I’ve been covering.

James Talarico keeps proving he’s the ultimate pushover.

Every day it’s a new “Daily Talarico Digest.” This Texas Democrat backs bills that could lock Texans up for posting memes, then turns around and says illegal immigrants work harder and are “more American” than actual Texas citizens. Bro. Everything he says is all ache and no spine. Someone actually hands him a mic and walks away proud, like it’s a participation trophy on full display.

And then there’s that AI video of Mark Cuban walking down the wrong side of a freeway overpass in the middle by the median wall, rocking skimpy yellow Talarico-branded prostitute skin-tight clothes, purse in hand, sassy as hell, looking like a lost hooker who’s way too excited about James. I can see the long term effects of that video right now: “Stop sending this to me,” —Cuban.

When Ken Paxton won’t debate him, Talarico’s own camp drops official statements like it’s high drama. Be smarter, James — write out your talking points so Paxton can cordially reply. Talarico is the perfect fall guy in this whole scripted game: weak enough to make the other side look strong, useful enough to keep the show rolling. Politics is theater. Follow the script or get the boot. That’s why I’m nonpartisan. Both sides run the same playbook.

Houston’s special treatment and backwards priorities.

Houston Mayor John Whitmire defends the installation of Muslim feet-washing stations at Houston airport bathrooms as a “practical need.” Practical need? Since when have I ever needed to wash my bare feet at a public place of business? Never. Even in sandals I wouldn’t. Bums wash themselves in public settings, not citizens. You’re enabling bums.

Meanwhile in Houston, a man tried to kidnap a third-grader at a school park. Three license plate cameras nearby could’ve identified him in minutes — all three had been cut down. Neighbors with security cameras wouldn’t share their footage either. The folks cutting those cameras act like heroes (“you’re welcome”), while the people screaming about the “dangers” of the cameras look like they could be part of the trafficking problem themselves, running around with fake beards and hats trying to hide their identity. Priorities are completely backwards.

Selective outrage over Muslims right now are obtuse as hell — where was this same energy back in the day whenever other ethnic groups came and brought their mom-and-pop shops full of dangerous weapons and false idolatry? If you’re gonna shit on one race or group, shit on all of them. Otherwise shut your face, because nobody wants to hear why you prefer apples over oranges.

Tax-and-fee greed on full display.

Democrat-run San Antonio is preparing a massive amount of new taxes and increases on residents — more than 140 proposed new or increased fees, permits, and other revenues. Garage sale permits will be $20. If you lose a library book, you pay the full lost price plus a higher processing fee. New environmental fees. An extra $25 trash fee. Higher permit costs for things like Airbnb. Higher airport fees. Higher dog registration fees, especially for dogs considered “dangerous.” Higher ambulance transport fees. A new $5 fee for incident and offense reports that used to be free. A new $545 school fire inspection fee. The list goes on and on. We’re being taxed just for existing. Stop the insanity. Stop the greed. Stop the “alleged” misappropriations of public tax funding. Sounds like San Antonio needs its swamp drained.

The government is always the same: lightning fast when it’s time to take your money, and glacial (or nonexistent) when it’s time to give anything back. And that “free childcare” pitch? Don’t fall for the packaging. Is it actually free childcare of your choice, or just another scheme to force everyone into government-mandated facilities? Watch how quickly the word “choice” disappears the moment they get their foot in the door. And watch your kids, because, do you really trust a Muslim Socialist Democrat to watch your children?

Government overreach and silencing.

New Jersey Governor Mikie Sherrill just effectively banned Christians from praying for unborn babies outside of abortion clinics. Let that sink in. Peaceful prayer on a public sidewalk is now treated like a threat. You’re a real piece of shit for that one, Mikie. When the state starts criminalizing people for quietly asking God to protect the unborn, you know the mask is all the way off.

California Democrats just passed AB 2624 — the so-called “Stop Nick Shirley Act” — that makes it illegal to post videos of fraud against taxpayers. They’re so mad at citizen journalists exposing the grift that they want to criminalize the footage itself. And the internet already knows the lore: California Assembly Chief of Staff Terry Schanz (a grown man on the taxpayer dime) ran up on Nick Shirley during a street interview, shoved a paper in his face that read “Allegedly Nick Shirley Has a Small Penis. Prove Me Wrong,” and kept repeating it like a weirdo. So of course the only logical response is that they’re insanely mad Nick has a gigantic penis… allegedly, of course. Apparently it’s so big they had to pass a whole bill to try and shut him down. Darn that big American penis! Gosh.

Platforms are predatory too.

Meta turned Instagram into a black hole. Creators put in the work, grind out the content, rack up the views… and then get almost zero likes, shares, or real support while the algorithm quietly buries everything. Kevin Systrom’s original vision of a simple photo-sharing app is dead and buried. This engagement-killing BS is predatory, completely opaque, and should be illegal. They’re using us as free content farms and then starving the very people who feed the machine.

On X it’s the same energy. Elon hid the full analytics dashboard and now charges money (X Premium) just to see the real numbers on your own posts. Basic per-post stats are still free on mobile, but the actual useful account-level data? Paywalled. Wild. This platform just keeps getting worse and worse the more he messes with it.

Culture and common sense on life support.

A viral post from mid-August by @NatalyaOba turned a neighbor putting trash bins on the curb the night before pickup into a 700-word manifesto about neighborhood aesthetics, “consideration,” and whether she should leave a polite note. It racked up hundreds of thousands of views and thousands of replies—most of them calling it petty entitlement or pure rage bait.

When ordinary people start writing treatises about garbage cans while real problems (crime, failing infrastructure, open borders, runaway fees) go unaddressed, the well is being poisoned. Silence about that inversion of priorities doesn’t just enable the noise; it normalizes it.

It trains everyone to treat minor inconveniences as moral emergencies and actual civic decay as background noise. My take? This has to be rage bait, there's no way somebody's going to sit here and write a whole manifesto about a f****** trash can out on the curb… are you kidding me?

Bottom line from a truth-seeker who’s tired of the script:

Stop handing microphones to the spineless politicians who trade principles for applause. Stop the selective special treatment that elevates some groups’ cultural demands while treating ordinary citizens as second-class. Stop the nonstop tax-and-fee extraction that treats residents like ATMs.

Stop the platforms that farm creators and users for free labor then bury or paywall the results. The only real exit from this theater is grassroots pressure—local standards enforced by the people who actually live with the consequences, not by distant scolds or algorithmic outrage machines.
