When Las Vegas’ Fox 5 News asked for the public’s opinion on Nevada being one of the worst states to drive in, President Trahan took to their Twitter post to voice his Concerns.
He had this to say:
Yes! I love the crosshatch street design of #Vegas, but some of the far right lanes need to be gored off turning–lanes, and some of the off-ramps should be redone so Eastbound is left–lane and Westbound is the right–lane instead of backwards like how the Spring Mountain ramp is.
Also, there is a huge problem with vehicular insurance–fraud where they cause the wreck and then collect a paycheck that needs to be dealt with before I even decide to step foot in Vegas ever again. I’ve been in more wrecks in Vegas than anywhere else, and they’re never my fault.
The “wreck for a check” gotta stop. The loophole in that law incentivizes crooks to inflict unsuspecting innocent people with undue bodily harm. I have been a witness to several. It’s the left turning lane, they use it to slam into someone who “didn’t yield” to oncoming traffic.
